The International Air Carrier Association (IACA) represents 33 airlines serving the leisure industry. IACA members operate over 800 state-of-the-art, environmentally efficient aircraft and directly employ more than 50,000 people. Each year IACA airlines transport over 100 million passengers to 650 holiday destinations worldwide.

As stakeholder, IACA has been invited by the European Commission to provide its comments to proposed actions outlined in a Commission's Discussion Document that describes the main objectives of the future Communication, as well as possible actions to be undertaken by the Commission.

On behalf of its Members, IACA wishes to contribute to this Public Consultation. IACA's responses to the questions raised by the European Commission are set out in the remainder of this document (highlighted in red).

IACA's response can be downloaded from the PDF document on the left-hand column of this web page.
