Corendon Airlines has joined the International Air Carrier Association (IACA) as a full member.
Sylviane Lust, Director General of the Association said:
“IACA is extremely pleased that Corendon Airlines is joining the IACA family. In the current challenging economic environment for aviation, IACA is instrumental for bringing together airlines to resolve their issues and to address adequately the consequences of new rules that unfortunately put further pressure on the sector. IACA represents its members with one common voice and we welcome the addition of a new member to further strengthen our membership.”
“We look forward to working with Corendon Airlines by providing concrete assistance on a complete range of aeropolitical, operational and technical issues.”
Yıldıray Karaer, Chairman & CEO, Corendon Airlines added: "Our business model bears many similarities to IACA's airline members - efficient pattern of operations, network of destinations and fleet composition. We hence find it very valuable to be able to make use of IACA's networking opportunities and to learn from experience of other airlines facing similar operational issues”
The addition of Corendon Airlines brings the membership of IACA to 35 airlines.
